18-246 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the Mayor provide a copy of the City of Revere yearly audit and the budget commencing in 2016. APPROVED

18-247 Motion presented by Councillor Guinasso: That the City Council award a Certificate of Commendation to Kerri Abrams, owner of Kinship Floral for donating a kidney to John Nucci. APPROVED

18-248 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the Mayor request the management of the Beach House to appear before the Revere City Council to discuss the event of July 4th in which over 7 cruisers from RPD and State Police responded to an incident and to discuss how to prevent such incidents in the future. A representative from RPD shall be requested to appear as well. APPROVED

18-249 Motion presented by Councillor Powers: That the following ordinance further amending the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Revere relative to the LI District be ordered to a public hearing: Section 1. Title 17, Chapter 17.16, Section 17.16.040 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Revere is hereby amended by c hanging the entry for “Dwelling, two-family” in the LI District from “yes” to “no.” Section 2. Title 17, Chapter 17.16, Section 17.16.040 of the Revised ordinances of the City of Revere is hereby a mended by changing the entry for “Dwelling apartment” in the LI District from “sp” to “no.” Section 3. Title 17, Chapter 17.16., Section 17.16.040 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Revere is hereby amended by changing the entry for “Dwelling, townhouse” in the LI District from “sp” to “no”. Section 4. Title 17, Chapter 17.16., Section 17.16.040 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Revere is hereby amended by changing the entry for “Dwelling, duplex” in the LI District from “sp: to “no”. REFERRED TO PUBLIC HEARING

18-250 Motion presented by Councillor Powers: That the Mayor request Clear Channel to remove the destroyed billboard structure on North Shore Road. The identification numbers on the billboard structure on North Shore Road. The identification numbers on the billboard are 14803/7072. APPROVED

18-251 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the Mayor provide the Revere City Council a coy of draft of the proposed February 2016 Audit. The people deserve to see what work was done for $72,000. WITHDRAWN

18-252 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the City Council request that Rep Vincent file legislation to change the CMR to make veteran the highest priority to obtain housing. Further that she or a member of her office appear before the Council to discuss our efforts thus far. APPROVED

18-253 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the City of Revere mitigate for 10% affordable housing within the scope of any proposed housing at Suffolk downs. PLACED ON FILE

18-254 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the Mayor update the Revere City Council regarding any and all mitigation at Suffolk Downs. APPROVED

18-255 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the City of Revere establish a Revere employment commission. The proposed commission should emulate the City of Boston in Function and law.

18-256 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the Mayor request that Chief of Police to appear before the Revere City Council regarding call taker/dispatch and the interconnectivity of Revere CCTV. APPROVED

18-257 Motion presented by Councillor Rotondo: That the City of Revere change its building code to mandate any building with 50 units or more must maintain an AED in it lobby. REFERRED TO PUBLIC SAFETY

18-258 Motion presented by Council Vice-President McKenna: That the Mayor request the appropriate entity responsible for the reconstruction of the islands on Revere Beach Parkway at the intersections of North Shore Road and Winthrop Parkway to remove all barrels, cones, and other construction materials as soon as possible. Construction has not taken place in several weeks and the area was left in complete disarray. Barrels that are necessary for traffic control shall remain.

18-259 Motion presented by Councilor Guinasso: That the Mayor request the Traffic Commission to approve the installation of “No Parking Here to Corner” signage on Rumney Road at the intersection of Broadway. APPROVED

18-260 Motion presented by Councilor Rotondo: That the City Council request the Speaker of the House and Representative Vincent to support the safe staffing bill currently before the State. APPROVED

18-261 Motion presented by Councillor Powers: That the Mayor request National Grid to install a street light on Pole 1540 at the intersection of Revere Street and Sagamore Street. This is necessary because residents making a right hand turn onto Sagamore Street have difficulty making the turn due to the lack of property lighting. APPROVED

18-262 Motion presented by Councillor Keefe: That the Mayor request all utility companies or contractors performing non-emergency utility and construction projects involving street opening, pole work, power lines that may disrupt residences or business or give abutters a minimum of 7 days notice prior to the commencement of work. Notice shall include scope of work. APPROVED
