JUST WANTED TO BE A WRESTLER

An Everett man with the dream of becoming a professional wrestler was arrested early on Saturday morning when he was caught flipping over picnic tables at the Twist and Shake on Revere Beach Boulevard.

Around 12:30 a.m., police on routine patrol observed a man flipping over picnic tables at the parlor. As police went to investigate, he quickly walked away from the mess he had created.

Police caught up to the man and he tried to ignore them.

Upon stopping him, the man told police he was flipping the tables over because he always wanted to be a pro wrestler.

Alcohol was a factor.

Alan Singleton, 27, of Everett, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and wanton destruction of property $250 or less.

 

DRUG ARREST WITH EVERETT

The Revere Police and Everett Police made a cocaine bust together on Thursday, May 31, of two East Boston men.

Around 6:12 p.m., police converged on the two men while they were driving on the Parkway due to a search warrant from Everett Police.

The operator was put under arrest, and the passenger was found to be in possession of cocaine and had several warrants.

Jonathan Vilarino, 26, of East Boston, was charged with possession to distribute a Class B drug and operating with a suspended license.

Michael Vilarino, 30, of East Boston, was charged with possession to distribute a Class B drug and three warrants.

 

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

A man charged with being under the influence of drugs while driving was arrested on Thursday, May 31.

Police arrived on the scene around 1:30 p.m. at Ward Street where a motor vehicle accident was causing major gridlock. Two vehicles in the right lane were impeding traffic and officers asked one of the men to pull over so cars could get around. The operator tried to pull over, but nearly hit the officer’s cruiser and narrowly missed plowing into a building.

After an investigation, it was determined he was under the influence of narcotics.

Wayne Lee, 56, of Lynn, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, negligent operation and marked-lanes violation.

 

CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING WOMAN

A Somerville man is charged with beating a woman who took his girlfriend to the trailer park to buy drugs on Saturday morning.

The victim reported to police around 5 a.m. that her female friend called her up and asked if she would take her to the trailer park to buy drugs. The victim consented, and met up with the friend and her boyfriend – the suspect.

The two women went inside a trailer to buy the drugs, but during the exchange, the friend grabbed the victim’s money and dashed out the door.

The victim gave chase, but once outside, the boyfriend allegedly began beating the victim in the face and body. The victim claimed he had a knife, and when she tried to call police, he took the phone.

She was also hit with a metal chair as well.

John Savage, 33, of Somerville, was charged with assault and battery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, intimidating a witness and larceny under $250.

 

DRIVING DRUGGED

An Everett man is being charged with driving under the influence of drugs after he hit a guardrail, changed a tire and then passed out in the Stop & Shop parking lot on Squire Road.

Around 12:30 p.m. on May 28, police were called to the lot for a man slumped over the wheel of a Nissan Maxima. Officers were able to wake him and learned he had crashed into a guardrail nearby an hour ago, changed a wrecked tire and then made it into the lot before passing out.

Officers made an investigation and determined he was under the influence of a narcotic.

Leo Boudreau Jr., 39, of Everett, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs.

 

SHOPLIFTING RING

An East Boston woman was arrested on Sunday for a series of price-tampering thefts at the Target in Suffolk Downs.

Officers were called by the security at the store for a woman that they had caught tampering with prices. They believed she had been involved in several other incidents too as part of a coordinated shoplifting scheme.

Officers and Target security were able to locate her tampering with prices on six previous occasions via surveillance video.

She was arrested.

Kelly Ann Fitzsimmons, 23, of East Boston, was charged with seven counts of shoplifting by price tag tampering.

Luis M. Aispuro, 31, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Haley L. Ferragamo, 24, of 237 Lantern Road, was arrested on two outstanding warrants and on a charge of shoplifting.

 

SUNDAY, MAY 27

Mike Vega, 34, of 585 Revere Beach Blvd., was arrested on charges of operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for a lights violation.

 

TUESDAY, MAY 29

Juan Carlos Beltre, 41, listed as no address, was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on charges of breaking & entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a misdemeanor and causing malicious damage to property in an amount under $250.

 

THURSDAY, MAY 31

Wayne R. Lee, 56, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. He also was cited for a marked lanes violation.

Michael S. Vilarino, 30, of East Boston, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and on a charge of illegal possession of a Class B controlled narcotic substance with intent to distribute.

Jonathan S. Vilarino, 26, of East Boston, was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a Class B controlled narcotic substance with intent to distribute and operating a motor vehicle after his right to operate had been suspended.

 

SATURDAY, JUNE 2

Alan A. Singleton, 27, of Everett, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and wanton destruction of property under $250.

 

SUNDAY, JUNE 3

Kelly Ann Fitzsimmons, 23, of East Boston, was arrested on charges of seven counts of shoplifting by price tag tampering.
