NARFE to meet

The North Shore Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) will hold its free monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 3, at 1 pm at the Torigian Senior Center, 75R Central Street, Peabody.  The chapter will review the status of proposed legislation affecting the Federal community and will review NARFE’s advocacy tools to make our voices heard on these matters. Belle Isle Marsh Clean Up

The Friends of Belle Isle Marsh will hold a cleanup on Saturday, April 29 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Meet at the Belle Isle Marsh Reservation, main parking lot, Bennington Street, East Boston.

 

Fundraiser for American Cancer Society Relay For Life ON APRIL 28

Community members are invited to join the Relay For Life of East Boston for a night of Metaphysical Messages with Linnea Star on April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Suffolk Downs Topsider Room. Linnea Star can converse with the spirit world in many ways. She is well versed in clairaudience (hearing the messages that are being conveyed), as well as precognition (the prediction of the future). Tickets are on sale for $40 per person by purchase of online sales at http://www.relayforlife.org/linneastarMA Please note there are no guaranteed readings as this is an audience wide fundraiser, Linnea will do her best to reach as many people as possible. Funds raised through this event will go to the Relay For Life of East Boston held on June 9 at East Boston Memorial Stadium to help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations.
