OAK ISLAND Park to open on Dec. 3
The grand opening of the Oak Island Park will be held Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m. The park, in the area behind the Jack Satter House, 420 Revere Beach Blvd. Much of the play equipment was built in the pouring rain by volunteers a couple of weekends ago.
27th Pirandello Wine Tasting
“ What better way to end the Thanksgiving season than with an Italian Wine tasting, “, said newly elected President of the Pirandello Lyceum, Attorney Frank Ciano speaking of the Pirandello Lyceum’s 2nd Annual Wine Tasting event.. “ Our last wine tasting event was a resounding success and tickets are still available for the November 27th event.â€
The Pirandello Lyseum, which supports the continued awareness of Italian Literate and Culture in America, holds the annual event to support its Italian Language and Culture Scholarship Program. Scores of young scholars have received the coveted scholarship prize over the past few years .
The event will be held at Spinelli’s Function Hall, 282 Street, Eat Boston, MA 02128 on November 27, 2016 (Sunday) from 407 P.M. Spinelli’s is conveniently located in the Day Square area of Eat Boston and there is off-street parking. Admission is $45
Ciano said that the Pirandello was again pleased to present renowned vintner Dr. Tino Valdesolo.
“ Dr. Valdesolo will share his extensive knowledge of the fine art of wine making and wine tasting with us, “ said Ciano. “ We will be featuring fine Italian wines accompanied by light fare.
