State Primary Thursday Sept. 8

This week’s primary would not truly be one if it weren’t for candidates for the Democratic Party Ballot. There are no Green Rainbow candidate in the State Primary. Nor are there any Republican candidates and no United Independent party candidates.

Running for Congress on the Democratic ticket is Katherine Clark of Melrose. Also running unopposed as representatives in the General Court is Rep. Robert A, DeLeo from Winthrop and Rep. RoseLee Vincent of Revere and  also from Winthrop is Senator Joseph Boncore who has been in office for less than a year.

 In the race for sheriff incumbent Steven Tompkins is  being challenged by Alexander Rhalami.

In the race for Register of Deeds race, to fill a vacany, Douglas Bennett, Stephanie Everett, Kathrine Forde, Michael Mackan, Stephen Murphy, Paul Nutting Jr., Jeffrey Road. All the candidates live in Boston.

Governor’s Councillor in the Sixth District includes candidates Terrence Kennedy, of Lynnfield, Stephen Borelli, Richard Dimeo both live in Boston.
