Retired Revere Police Officer and founding member of the VFW Mottolo Post in Revere
Joseph, J. “Joe†Errico, Jr., a lifelong resident of Revere, died on August 17. He was 83 years old.
Joe was a US Navy veteran who served during the Korean Conflict, a founding member of the VFW Mottolo Post in Revere and a retired Revere Police officer.
He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Constance “Connie†(Martin); devoted father of Robert and his wife, Roseann (Sardo) of Boxford, David and his wife, Jane (Thomassen) of Rowley, Karen (Boomhower) Errico of Revere and the late Kenneth and Kevin Errico; dear brother of the late Gerald, Ralph and Albino Errico and Marie Gazzaj; loving uncle of Vicki Mucci and Robert DeLeo of Winthrop and Janice Gazza of Revere; beloved brother-in-law of Cliff and June Martin of Florida, Olive and Dick Vargas of California and Larry and Carol Caron, Velma Labrecque and Robert and Mignonne Martin, all of Maine; cherished grandfather of Nikola and Christopher Errico of Boxford, Ysabelle, Annalise and Daniel Errico of Beverly and Meghan and Erin Thomassen of Rowley. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lucille Miraldi
25 year plus postal worker and animal lover
Lucille Miraldi of Revere died on August 17.
Lucille was a lover of all animals, including her many pets. She made contributions to numerous animal organizations over the years and enjoyed her job as a postal worker for over 25 years.
She was the loving daughter of the late Anthony Miraldi and Anna (Cuilla); dear sister of Louis Miraldi and his wife, Joan of Saugus and the late Beatrice O’Brien and is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and beloved by many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Thomas ‘Tom’ Walles
Decorated veteran
Thomas “Tom†Walles†of Wilmington, formerly of Revere, died on August 21.
Tom served in the Vietnam War  and was highly decorated in the United States Amy receiving the Aircraft Medal W/V Device, Bronze Star Medal W/1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal W/1st Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal (3rd Award), Vietnam Cross of Gallantry W/Palm, Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter Badge 45 Caliber, Sharpshooter Badge M-16, and the Silver Star.
A member of the VFW Post 2458 and the American Legion Post 136, Tom was a sports enthusiast and was past president of the St Mary’s Little League in Revere where he also coached basketball.  He enjoyed watching all of the Boston professional teams and spent spare time fishing.
He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa (Ioven); devoted father of Thomas “Tom†Walles and his wife, Whitney of Chelmsford, and Rena Stroud and her husband, Michael of Wilmington; dear brother of the late Albert Walles and Bernice Imperioso and cherished Papa of Zachary and Joshua Stroud and Adalynn Walles.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Friday August 26 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited at 10:30 am. Retired City of Lynn Assistant Purchasing Agent
Nancy M. (Blaisdell) Dembro of Revere, formerly of Lynn, died on August 18 at Salem Hospital. She was 78 years old.
The wife of Edward F. Dembro with whom she shared 45 years of marriage, she was born and raised in Lynn, the daughter of the late Edmund and Cecilia (Savard) Blaisdell. Nancy retired from the City of Lynn, after 28 years of service as the Assistant Purchasing Agent. She was a communicant of St. Pius V Parish and loved to travel to Foxwoods with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her large, loving, loud family. Her grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Robert Borders and his late wife, Nancy, of Beverly, Robin Bourgeois and her husband, Roger of Middleton, William Borders and his wife, Eileen of Lynn, Barbara Sereda and her husband, Ralph, of Nahant, Brian Borders and his wife, Lisa of Saugus, Beth Rigol and her fiancé, Gino Spelta of Nahant, Steven Dembro and his wife, Ellen, of West Boylston, and Denise Ford and her husband, John of California; her grandchildren: Bobby, Sara, Shawna, Danny, Marc, Timothy, Shaun, Ryan, Aimee, Allie, Justin, Ashley, Jessica, Danielle, Lindsey, Kirsten, Jacob, Billy, Christian, and Justin; her great grandchildren: Noah, Ethan, Camryn, and Ryder; her siblings: Adeline Mullen, Joanne Riley, Patricia D’Angelo, Elaine McCormack, Annette Crowe, Janice Smerczynski, Edmund Blaisdell, Thomas Blaisdell, and the late Claire Hunt, and by many nieces and nephews.

RoseMarie Brandano
Registered Nurse, community and cultural activist whose love has inspired three generations of children
RoseMarie (Savignano) Brandano of Lynnfield, formerly of Everett, died suddenly on August 16.
Born in Chelsea on October 26, 1931, at age 17 she entered into the School of Nursing at Whidden Memorial Hospital and graduated as a registered nurse. In 1955, at age 24, she married Albert Brandano and they were owners of Brandano Bakery in Revere.
In addition to her nursing career and family business, RoseMarie worked as a travel agent at Ambassador Tours Belmont and Carefree Travel of North End. She always surrounded herself with her Italian culture and enjoyed organizing trips to Italy to share the culture with others.
RoseMarie was very involved in her community as she was a very charitable and spiritual women. She was the President of the Frances Tomasello Club of Boston, Italian Women’s Club of Boston, Professional Business Women’s Club and Lynnfield Senior Housing Colonial Gardens. She was a member of Dante Alighieri Society and Pope John XXIII High School Fund Raising Committee. She gave back to many charities and organized personal and political fundraising events.
RoseMarie was more than just a loving nurse, she was dedicated to community service and a cultural advocate; she was also a devoted mother to two sets of twins and grandmother and great grandmother to many loved ones. Her love has inspired three generations of children and she will be forever remembered and loved.
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert V.; devoted mother of Charles J. of Salem, NH, Albert S. and his wife, Margo of Kensington NH, Rose Marie DeVereaux and her husband, Lee of Saugus and Ann Marie Liburdi and her husband, Paul of Lynnfield; dear sister of Mary Ann Giannasca and her husband, Armando of Chelsea, Nicolette DeFeo and her late husband, Dasco of Assonet, Louise Solomita and her late husband, Anthony of Kingston, and the late Fred Savignano and his surviving wife, Joan, Lorraine Magazzu and her late husband, John. She Is also survived by eight loving grandchildren: Lea, Janet, Gregory, Albert, Janelle, Alanna, Brianna, Nicholas, a great granddaughter, Niva Grace and by many nieces and nephews. Chester F. Symanski of Revere, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Thursday, August 18. He was 77 years old.
A US Coast Guard veteran, he was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Harrington) Symanski, the loving father of Stephan Symanski of Annapolis, MD, Mary Simonelli and Michael Symanski, both of Revere and Linda Newman and her husband, Eric of Winthrop; cherished grandfather of Alyssa Scenna and her husband, Nicholas, Christina Symanski, Daniel Chester Symanski, Jessica Simonelli and the late Thomas Ramsdan. Anna Gnerre, a lifelong Revere resident, died on August 20.
Anna had many fond memories of her travels and cruise vacations. She was very active at St. Anthony’s Parish and was a wonderful aunt who enjoyed the time she spent with her many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Julio and Lilletta (Vicca); cherished sister of Clementina Gnerre of Revere, Julia Puliafico and her late husband, George of Framingham, her brother in law Anthony Cavalieri and the late Anthony Gnerre, Marie Pietrillo, Louis Gnerre, Flora Nelson, and Lenora Cavalieri. Florence Olsen
Took pride in home and family
Florence I. (Cramb) Olsen, a longtime Revere resident, died on Friday, August 19 at the Kindred Hospital of Boston following a long illness. She was 87 years old.
Florence was born and raised in Malden. She attended Malden public schools and was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1947. After graduation, Florence worked at John Hancock Life Insurance Co. of Boston for several years prior to marrying Arthur S. Olsen in 1957. Together the couple began their family in Everett, then in 1959, they settled in Revere, where they made their home and raised their seven children.
Florence was a dedicated homemaker and a wonderful mother who took tremendous pride in her home and her family. In later years, she was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed her trips to points north of New Hampshire and Maine’s Lake Regions. She was so talented with her crocheting, sewing and knitting, making wonderful creations for her family to enjoy and treasure. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her incredibly large family, sharing memories and making new ones.
 The devoted wife of Arthur S. “Siggy†Olsen, Sr. of Revere, she was the loving mother of Wayne D. Spencer and his wife, Georgianna and Donna M. Hurley, and her late husband DeeJay Hurley, all of Winthrop, Arthur S. Olsen, Jr. of Swampscott and his late wife, Helene, Alan R. Olsen and his wife, Annette of Georgetown, Sonja J. Olsen and her companion, Fred Nolan of Revere, Eric L. Olsen and his wife, Erica of Sandown, NH and Zoe A. Simonton and her husband, Norman of Winthrop. She was the cherished grandmother of 19 and adored great grandmother of seven, the beloved sister of Donald Cramb of New Hampshire, Joan Aubrey and her husband, John of Everett, Phyllis Seisa and her companion, Charles and Dora Dunton and her husband, James, all of New Hampshire, Christine Panniello of Tewksbury and the late Frank Cramb and his wife, Barbara of New Hampshire. She is also lovingly survived by her loving brothers and sisters in law and by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
