ANNESE JOINS FAMILY DENTISTRY

Annese DMD Dental Practice, located at 106 Broadway in Revere, would like to welcome Dr. Alexander Annese as a general dentist. He joins his father, Dr. John Annese, in carrying on the legacy of  his grandfather, the late Dr. Amelio Annese, who opened the practice in 1957. Dr. Alexander  looks forward to continuing the family tradition.

Dr. Alexander Annese attended nearby Malden Catholic High School. In 2012, he graduated magna cum laude from Boston College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. In 2016, Dr. Annese earned his dental degree (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Dental Association. Alex currently resides in Revere MA. For hobbies, he plays soccer for Sports Identity FC in the BSSL. He also enjoys travelling, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Annese DMD is excited for Dr. Alexander Annese’s addition to their dental family, which not only includes the nuclear Annese family, but also the incredibly caring staff and loyal patients.

STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM UMASS LOWELL

Students graduate from Local residents were  among a record number of graduates presented with diplomas at UMass Lowell’s  2016 Commencement exercises on Saturday, May 14 at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell.

Local residents who are members of UMass Lowell‚s Class of 2016 are:

* Sam Matovu of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science in  Engineering degree in civil engineering

* Abdulaziz Etaiwi of Revere, who received a Master of Science in  Engineering degree in civil engineering

* Khanh Nguyen of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science  degree in clinical laboratory sciences

* Jawad Ahdi of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science in  Engineering degree in electrical engineering

* Gerald Shkoza of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science in  Engineering degree in electrical engineering

* Salvatore Febo of Revere, who received a Master of Science in  Engineering degree in electrical engineering

* Brittany Lento of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science  degree in exercise physiology

* Roberta Spinale of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Science  degree in nursing

* Jason Hittinger of Revere, who received a Bachelor of Arts  degree in political science

* Jay Medrano of Revere , who received a Bachelor of Science in  Business Administration

* Oscar Romero Gonzalez of Revere, who received a Bachelor of  Science in Business Administration

* Jenna Mattera of Revere, who received a Doctor of Physical  Therapy

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences  is pleased to announce the students who have been named to the  Dean’s List for the Spring 2016 semester:

* Melissa Bolen is a native of Revere and is pursuing a Bachelor  of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.  Melissa will graduate in

2016 from the Boston, Massachusetts campus.

* Xiudi Chen is a native of Revere  and is pursuing a Bachelor of  Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Xiudi will graduate in 2018 from the

Boston, Massachusetts campus.

* Eunhye Lee is a native of Revere and is pursuing a Doctor of  Pharmacy.  Eunhye will graduate in 2019 from the Boston, Massachusetts  campus.

* Elizabeth Marashi is a native of Revere and is pursuing a  Bachelor of Science in Public Health.  Elizabeth will graduate in 2017

from the Boston, Massachusetts campus.

* Duong Nguyen is a native of Revere and is pursuing a Bachelor  of Science in Pharmaceutical and Health Care Business.  Duong will  graduate in 2017 from the Boston, Massachusetts campus.

* Ha Nguyen is a native of Revere and is pursuing a Doctor of  Pharmacy.  Ha will graduate in 2018 from the Manchester, New Hampshire  campus.

* Giuseppina Sclafani is a native of Revere and is pursuing a  Doctor of Pharmacy.  Giuseppina will graduate in 2018 from the Boston, Massachusetts campus.

 

LOCAL STUDENTS WIN BC HIGH AWARDS

OUR LADY OF LOURDES MASS SET

The next Our Lady Lordes Park mass will be Sunday, August 28 at 9AM.  The mass will be held rain or shine.  Father Dan will be officiating.
