Theresa ‘Terry’ Waite
Of Florida, formerly of Revere
Theresa “Terry†(Ryan) Waite of Tarpon Springs, Florida, formerly of Revere, died on June 8.
Theresa worked for the Citizens Bank in Revere for 15 years. Terry enjoyed the beach and after retiring moved to Florida full time. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was often the life of the party among those she met in Florida.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Pat and Mary (Ryan); loving wife of the late Donald Waite; devoted mother of Gail Novak and her husband, Ron of Tarpon Springs, FL, Deborah (Sampson) Annese of Revere, Lisa Doherty and her husband, Michael of Lecanto, FL, and John Guzdowski and his wife, Marie of North Attleboro; dear sister of Paul Ryan and his wife, Rike of Plano, Texas, Richard “Dick†Ryan of Lynn, Kathy Giberti of Saugus, and the late James Ryan; cherished grandmother of Henry Annese III, Lauren Novak, Jason Novak, Matthew Doherty and the late Michael Doherty; great grandmother of Henry Annese IV and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Sunday, June 26 at 3 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Private Interment.   In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terry’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472. Frank Taraburelli
Retired Revere Police Officer and highly decorated veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict
Frank A. Taraburelli of the Chelsea Soldiers Home, formerly of Revere, died on June 15.
A retired Revere Police officer, he was a highly decorated World War II Army Veteran. His Theaters of Operation include: Northern France, Ardennes, Alsace, Rhineland, and Central Europe.  He was the recipient of  several  combat medals: Silver Star, Bronze Star w/â€Vâ€, Battle Patrol Patch, Presidential Unit Citation, just to mention a few. He was part of the 69th Infantry Division.  During The Battle of the Bulge, Frank was part of Battle Patrol, a special Combat Patrol Duty, in the movies referred to as “The Dirty Dozen.“ Undaunted, he served again five years later in the Korean Conflict.
He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Crivello); dear brother of Mary Penzo and her husband, Vincent of Dover, NH and the late Domenic Taraburelli; cherished uncle of Christine Moffa of Danvers, Loren Flansbury of Newburyport and Robert DeAngelis of Dalton, NH and is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St Michael of the Arch Angel Chapel (Chelsea Soldiers Home.) Interment with military honors was at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Gerardo “Jerry†Leone
Proud of his Italian heritage and thankful to be in America
Gerardo “Jerry†Leone passed away on June 13 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a long Illness. He was 76 years old.
Born and raised in San Nicola Baronia Province of Avellino. Jerry was also educated in Avellino. As a young man in his early twenties, he began his journey to America. He immediately went to work as a meat cutter in the meat packing district of Boston and settled in East Boston, where he and his wife, Rosa began their life together and started their family.
Jerry was of proud of his Italian Heritage and was thankful to be in America which he demonstrated with his great work ethic and love for his family. He also could be found working in the garden at his home, growing a variety of fruits and vegetables.
He was the beloved husband of Doan Le of East Boston and the former husband of 35 years to the late Rosa G. (Gerardi) Leone; cherished father of Alfonso Leone and his wife, Lisa of East Boston and Roseanne D’Alleva and her husband, Ralph L. of Wakefield, the loving grandfather of Giana and Philip D’Alleva of Wakefield; dear brother of five siblings. He is also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral arrangements were by the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, Revere. Entombment was in Holy Cross Community Mausoleum, Malden. Of Revere, formerly of Nebraska
Raymond Burcham, Sr. of Revere, formerly of Nebraska, passed away peacefully on June 11.
He was the husband of the late Mildred (Brownell) Burcham; devoted father of Raymond Jr. and his wife, Mariann of Weymouth, Rosemary Salvati and her late husband, Robert of Maynard, Arthur and his wife, Charlotte of Woburn, Robert and his wife, Nonita of Lowell, Thomas and his wife, Roberta of Weymouth, and the late Richard Burcham; cherished grandfather to his 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
