Maureen Reinstein, wife of the late Revere Mayor and State Rep. William G. Reinstein and mother of former State Rep. Kathi-Anne Reinstein, died on Feb. 19, 2016. She was 71. Mourners packed St. Mary of the Assumption Church Tuesday morning to pay their respects at a funeral Mass for Mrs. Reinstein, the former First Lady of Revere. Mrs. Reinstein was a popular and highly visible person at city events during her husband’s terms as mayor and as state representative. Mrs. Reinstein joined proudly with many Revere residents and officials for the dedication of the William G. Reinstein Bandstand on Revere Beach.When Kathi-Ann Reinstein succeeded her father in the Mass. House of Representatives, the family took great pride in her carrying on the tradition of public service.Mrs. Reinstein also leaves a son, William G. Reinstein and his companion, Samantha Sanchez; a son-in-law, Bob Denning; a brother, Matthew Judge of New Hampshire; a sister, Janice Fox of Weston; and a grandson, Chase William Reinstein. She was also the sister of the late Joy Clark.Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.Funeral arrangements were by Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Homes.
