And speaking of sports success stories in the city, what can you say about the Revere Pop Warner A, B, and C cheerleading squads that captured New England titles and earned berths in the National Championships over the past weekend?
What you can say is that these young athletes worked hard in preparation for the various competitions and their dedication to their team and each other paid off with a first-place finish in the New Englands.
It’s now on to Florida where they’ll compete against the best teams from virtually every state in the nation.
We congratulate Revere Pop Warner president Craig Elam, cheering coordinator Carolyn Demers, head coaches Kristin Karshis, Shannon Haggerty, and Melissa Elam for once again bringing national acclaim to our Pop Warner program.
Revere has become a national cheerleading powerhouse and we wish the squads continued success in pursuit of the national titles next month.
