Terranova Celebrates 100th Birtday

He’s well known in Revere as a H.P. Hood milkman and he just celebrated his 100th birthday with friends and family.

William S. Terranova was born on October 27, 1915 in Brighton, Mass. He attended Boston College High School for a year but had to withdraw in order to work during the Depression.

He worked as a junior salesman (milkman) for H.P. Hood for two years and then he was given his own route. This was in the day when milk was delivered by horse and wagon.

After Pearl Harbor he listed and completed OCS training in May 1943.

In June 1943, he married Pauline Procopio of 86 Waite St. in Revere.
