Sefika Husanovic of Revere / Winthrop, passed away August 20, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.  She was 69 years old.
She was born in Tuzla, Bosnia, where she grew up and later worked as a piano teacher most of her adult life before moving to the United States in 1996.
She was the beloved mother of Dalibor Konchar and his wife, Indira Osmancevic of Winthrop, and loving grandmother of Brando, who she adored. Â She is also survived by many brothers, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Sefika’s life by gathering in the Ernest P. Caggiano and Son-O’Maley Funeral Home, 147 Winthrop Street, Winthrop on Friday, August 28 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. before leaving in procession to the burial to take place in the Belle Isle section of Winthrop Cemetery. Worked in hotel management and at Fenway Park
Lourdes Vargas of Revere, formerly of Puerto Rico, died on August 24 at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Lourdes, who worked in Hotel Management for many years as well at Fenway Park, was the beloved mother of Jayson Vidal of Pennsylvania and Amaryllis Vidal of Revere; dear sister of Carmen D. Vargas of Revere, Nitza Vargas, Nilda Vargas, Carlos Vargas, Jose Vargas, Olga Vargas and Magali Vargas, all of Puerto Rico and the late Carmen I. Vargas. She was the daughter of the late Carlos Vargas and Angela Aviles.

Robert S. Pulisciano of Danvers, formerly of Revere, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 22 after being stricken and taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford.
Born in Malden, he was raised and educated in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1994.
For all his working career, he was a proud member of the Iron Workers Union, Local #7. He had a welcoming personality, and was highly respected & loved within Local #7. He lived in Revere, until moving to Saugus and then to Danvers, five years ago.
The beloved husband of Tanya M.(Peppe) Pulisciano, he was the cherished father of: Robert A. and Milania B. Pulisciano, all of Danvers; the adored son of Gail B. (Stewart) Pulisciano-Sweezey of No. Fort Myers, Florida and her husband, John and also the son of the late Anthony Pulisciano; the dear brother of Wendy LaMontagne and her husband, Jason of Shapleigh, Maine and Darlene Pulisciano and. her companion, Jiri of Woburn. He is also lovingly survived by his father and mother-in-law, Vinnie and Nancy Peppe of Danvers, brother and sisters-in-law, Josephine and her husband, Vincent DelGrosso of Middleton and Sabrina and her husband, Erik Spencer, Danny Peppe and his wife, Micalya, all of Danvers. He also leaves eight loving nieces and nephews: Katelyn, Jake, Isabella, Vanessa, Landon, Vinnie, Cooper and Lorenzo and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ann Giglio
Worked for former Liberty Market of East Boston and Russo’s Bakery (now Luberto’s Bakery) on Broadway, Revere; active at Immaculate Conception Parish
Ann (Reppucci) Giglio of Revere died following a brief illness on August 18 at Boston’s Massachusetts General Hospital.
Born and raised in East Boston, Ann was a graduate of East Boston High School, Class of 1931. She came to live in Revere 75 years ago,when she married Roger A. Giglio, who passed in December of 1992. She worked for over 30 years, with the former Liberty Market of East Boston as a lead cashier remaining with them until the store closed. Liberty Market was owned and operated by the Lombardo Family, friends of the Reppucci Family.
Locally in Revere, back in the late fifties and early sixties, she was a clerk for the former, Russo’s Bakery on Broadway, Revere, now Luberto’s Bakery. For many of the years at Liberty Market, all of Ann’s sisters worked with her — namely, Eleanor, Carmella and Lucy.
Back in the seventies, eighties and early nineties, the family knew where to locate the Reppucci Girls, especially on a Saturday. Though all had married and taken their marriage names, they were always referred to as ‘the Reppucci Girls.’
Ann was also a devotee of the Immaculate Conception Parish Community, Revere and was always active in the Immaculata Guild of the IC School and Maria Assunta Guild. Ann chaired the annual IC Fall Bazaar for several years. She and her late husband, Roger, he, an usher for IC and active member of the Holy Name Society, were most generous to the church, especially at the time of the building of the new
Church in 1990.
She was the devoted mother to: Roger C. Giglio and his wife Maryanne of Revere, Joyce C. Blais and her husband, Donald E. of Saugus and Carl D. Giglio of Revere; the cherished grandmother of Laura West and her husband, John of Litchfield, N.H., Christie Giglio of Derry, N.H., Michael A. Blais and his wife, Ali of Zurich, Switzerland, Jacqueline A. Blais of Leiden, Holland and Carolyn M. Blais of Los Angeles, CA. She was the dear sister and best friend to Lucy M. Salemme of Revere and the late Eleanor Santoro, Carmella M. Elliott, Anthony A. “Tom†Repucci, John, Joseph and Evelyn Reppucci. She is also lovingly survived by her two great-grandchildren, Emily and Colby, her 101 year old, special brother-in-law, Salvatore Santoro of Revere and by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Funeral arrangements were by the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, Revere. Interment was in the family lot at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. John Pepi
Long time Chief Court Officer at Boston Municipal Court
John F. Pepi died at the West Revere Health Center. He was 95 years old.
Born and raised in East Boston, he was the Chief Court Officer at Boston Municipal Court for many years.
The beloved husband of 64 years to Florence (Sarkisian), he was the devoted son of the late Michele and Antonetta Pepi; dear brother of the late Joseph A. Pepi and the loving uncle of Michael J. Pepi of Revere and many more loving nieces and nephews.

Thomas Kelly
Correctional officer and substance abuse counselor of New Hampshire,
formerly of Revere
Thomas M. Kelly of Seabrook, New Hampshire, formerly of Peabody, Newburyport and Revere, died peacefully August 14 at Brigham Manor Nursing Home in Newburyport after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67 years old.
Born in Boston, August 30, 1947, one of eleven children of the late Charles and Mary (Lavalle) Kelly, he was a graduate of Revere High School. Tommy, as he was known to his friends and family, was a correctional officer, having worked at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Middleton as well as the Lawrence Correctional Alternative Facility, commonly known as The Farm. He was also a substance abuse counselor who helped many people recover and turn their lives around.
He was predeceased by his parents, five brothers, Charles, John, Harold, Joseph and Colin and two sisters, Helen Rivitz and Dorothy Bamberg. He leaves behind three sisters: Mary Bonosoro, Margaret Perry and Ann Croce and her husband, Robert of Peabody, numerous nieces and nephews, including his nephews, Todd Croce and his wife, Rachael and Robert Croce and wife, Maureen, two grandnieces, Erin and Ashley Croce, and his most beloved dogs, Sully and Murphy. He will be dearly missed by them all.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport. A Memorial Mass was celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church, Newburyport. Interment was private and for the family. Anna F. (Lampasona) Bardaro of Revere passed away on August 13.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Bardaro; loving mother of Michael F. Bardaro Sr. and his wife, Carol of Revere and Ronald Bardaro of Texas; dear sister of Joseph Lampasona of Texas; cherished grandmother of Michael F. Jr., Michele and Melissa Bardaro and adored great grandmother of Isabella and Zachary. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

David Whelton, Sr.
Worked for McGinn Bus Co.; Member of Teamsters Local 42 of Lynn
David A. Whelton Sr. of Everett died unepectedly after being take to the Massachusetts General Hospital on Friday August 21 after becoming ill at his workplace, McGinn Bus Co.
Born in Melrose, he was raised and educated in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School, Class of 1971. He entered the US Army at Ft. Stewart, Georgia in October of 1974 and served until October of 1979. After discharge from the army he moved to Everett where he remained. He was a passionate member of the Vietnam effort. Nine years, ago he began working for the McGinn Bus Lines of Lynn as a Teamster with Local #42 of Lynn.
He was the beloved husband of 39 years to Diane E. (Baxter) and the adored father of Gwen E. Whelton, both of Everett and the late David A. Whelton, Jr. He was the cherished grandfather of Kristen E. Whelton, Jake D. and Savanah D. Gomez, all of Everett; the dear son of Ruth F. (Mahoney) Whelton of Saugus and the late John F. Whelton; the devoted brother of John F. Whelton of Wilmington, Carolyn Gammon of Saugus, Mark Whelton of Saugus, Kathleen Coccivillo of Wakefield, Adam Whelton and his wife, Rosalie of Peabody and the late Cynthia L. Wilson. He is also lovingly survived by Helen Gray and Steven Albano and by many nieces and nephews.
