Stephen Iacoviello

Of Revere

Stephen M. Iacoviello of Revere died on June 23.

He was the loving husband of Nancy (Ramos) Iacoviello of Revere; devoted son of Regina A. (McCool) of Revere and the late Anthony Iacoviello; dear brother of Anthony J. Iacoviello, Joseph M. Iacoviello and Kerry A. Iacoviello, all of Revere; cherished uncle of Kristy A. Schnieder, Joseph Y. Iacoviello, Bailey M. Lyons and Morgan Sullivan and treasured step-father of Jennifer Paul Bulan and Antonio Bulan, Jr. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Bo.

Marilyn Ringler

Of Chelsea

Marilyn (Caras) Ringler of Chelsea died on Saturday, June 27.

She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin Ringler.; devoted mother of Jacqueline Belanger and her companion, Arthur Croce and the late Linda Giancola; loving daughter of the late Harry and Sarah Caras; sister of Loretta Dall and the late Ruth Schurgin; loving grandmother of Steven Belanger and his wife, Jessica, Nicole Secreast and her husband, Freddy, Christa Giancola and her companion, Mike and Adam Giancola and his companion, Nicole Loftus.

Funeral arrangements were by the Torf Funeral Service,  Chelsea. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Marilyn’s name may be made to the Leonard Florence Center for Living, 165 Captains Row, Chelsea, MA 02150.

Mary Cecere

Of Revere

Mary E. Cecere of Revere died on June 25.

She was the beloved wife of the late Kevin Langill; loving daughter of Patricia (Hardick) Cecere of Revere and the late John; devoted mother of Richard Cecere and his companion, Kathleen Amore, Stephen Cecere and Krista Cecere, all of Revere and the late Kevin Cecere; dear sister of Patricia Sutherland of Revere, Leonard Cecere of Boston and Robert Cecere of E.Boston; cherished grandmother of Alexa, Brianna, Richard Jr. and Christopher Joseph and great-grandmother of Haley.

Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons~Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, July 2 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass  in St. Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Katherine Hartman

MGH Dental Assistant

Katherine G. Hartman, a life long Revere resident, died following a long illness  on June 22 at Boston’s Beth israel Hospital-Deaconess Medical Center. “Kathy” has been stoicly fighting Lupus Disease for several years. She was  49 years old.

She graduated from Revere High School in 1984 and continued her education at Bunker Hill Community College, School of Dental Studies, graduating in 1986. Currently, she had been employed as a Dental Assistant at Mass. General Hospital Dental Department.

She was the beloved daughter of Helen M. (Saunders) Hartman-Sekenski of Chelsea and the late Richard H. Hartman; the cherished mother of: Brian S. Hartman and his wife, Christine  and the devoted sister of Jonathan A. Hartman and his wife, Joyce, all of Revere and the late Adam B. Hartman. She was the adored aunt of Brettashley Hartigan of New Hampshire, Nicholas and Samantha Hartman, both of Revere and is also lovingly survived by her former husband, Louis “Butchie” Rossetti of Winthrop and her sister-in-law, Lori Hartley of New Hampshire.

Mary Festa

Of Revere, formerly of East Boston

Mary (Poccio) Festa of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away on  June 20.

Mary worked in electrolysis in Revere for many years.

She was the beloved wife of the late William B. Festa; loving mother of William “Chuck” Festa and his wife, Judith of Peabody and the late Carol Baptista and her late husband, Ronald; cherished grandmother of Ronald Baptista, Marissa Lemone and her husband, Rodney, Alana Festa Rikemon and her husband, Joseph and Giana Festa and her wife, Vanessa Spadafora; great-grandmother of Michael and Morgan Hatch; dear sister of Antoinetta Annese of Revere and the late Melina Emmanuele and Peter, Anthony and Pasquale Poccio.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Marlene Joyce Brenner

Long time manager of family business, Saugus Shoe Barn; also owned The Nimble Needle knitting shop in the 1970s

Marlene Joyce Brenner of Revere, originally of Brookline, died on Monday, June 22.

She loved the ocean and had a talent for knitting. In the 1970s she managed her own knitting shop called The Nimble Needle. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, taking her nieces and nephews on many trips to the White Mountains and lakes of New Hampshire, hosting holiday celebrations and caring for the younger members of the family on an almost daily basis. She spent many years devoted to the family business, managing Saugus Shoe Barn and helping people get what they needed for weddings, proms and other big life events.

She was the loving daughter of the late William Brenner and Gertrude (Katz) Brenner; loving sister of Gerald Brenner of Revere and Elaine Johnston of Dedham; loving aunt of William Brenner, Wendi Brenner, Shira Brenner, Stacey Coleman, Brian Anderson, James Johnston, Craig Johnston and the late Michael Brenner and is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.
