TAKE A CHILL PILL

One Revere man has promised to be more civilized in the future after threatening to kill an employee at the Board of Health for the issuance of a property fine.

Around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, a man called the Board by phone and began discussing a citation he was given for putting out his trash barrels too early.

At one point, he told the employee that he was going to come kill them.

They alerted police, who contacted the man.

“He apologized when we contacted him and said he had made a mistake in getting so mad,” said Lt. Jeff Graf. “He promised to be more civilized in the future.”

MIND YOUR BUSINESS

One woman who decided to spill the beans about an alleged infidelity by her neighbor’s husband ended up getting arrested after the two ladies squared off when the subject was breached.

The woman decided to inform her neighbor about the alleged affair on Wednesday, June 10, but it went over like a load of bricks. The neighboring wife took offense to the assertion and the two women engaged in a fight.

During the fight, the woman who spilled the beans bit her neighbor and busted a glass table.

Ramy Mao, 44, of 226 Cooledge St., was charged with assault and battery with serious bodily injury on a pregnant person and malicious destruction of property under $250.

BRICK FIGHT SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL

A Winthrop Avenue man has been arrested after sending one man to the hospital by hurling a brick during a fight last Tuesday, June 9.

Around 9:48 p.m., a confrontation erupted between the man and his neighbor.

The confrontation eventually led to the man allegedly throwing a brick at his neighbor and hitting him in the head.

Police observed a large gash in the victim’s head and he was transported to the hospital for the injuries.

Robert Pingaro, 38, of 912 Winthrop Ave., was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (brick).

PUNCHED IN THE FACE

A man claimed to have been punched in the face last Sunday evening after trying to get the attacker to move his car.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, the man told police he was trying to get out of the parking lot of La Fonda Paisa on Revere Street when he found a parked car was blocking the way.

He beeped his horn to get the driver to move, but instead he got more than he bargained for.

As he beeped the horn, a man came running out of an apartment and punched the honker in the honker.

The puncher fled after delivering the blow.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE

A Malden woman who was allegedly under the influence of drugs on Thursday night hit two cars and tried to flee the scene – though her fleet footed getaway was stuck in slow motion.

Around 7:18 p.m. on Thursday, the woman came barreling down Park Avenue and smashed into two parked cars.

One car owner happened to witness the incident and took note of what was happening.

He saw the woman come to a stop, slowly get out and try to get away.

However, she didn’t move too fast in getting away.

The man walked over to her and detained her until police arrived.

She was found to have a suspended license and to have a warrant.

Joanne Coleman, 55, of Malden, was charged with OUI Drugs, operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for OUI, leaving the scene of property damage, habitual traffic offender, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and one warrant.

DIRECT TV WORKERS COULD BE SCAM

At least one resident is reporting that she has been stolen from twice by DirecTV employees who were canvassing the neighborhood and offering upgraded service.

The woman said the employees were legitimate, but once inside her house, they allegedly stole cash on the first occasion when asking to use the bathroom.

During installation, the woman said one of the employees told her he needed to work on the TV upstairs. Later, she found that he had allegedly stolen her jewelry and the jewelry of her late mother.

Police are looking into the matter and the resident said to be on guard with such employees who are in one’s home.
