Ruth E. MacInnes of Chelsea, formerly of Beachmont, Revere died on April 23.
Ruth worked at Cambridge Hospital as a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring and in her free time she enjoyed reading, crocheting and making beautiful afghans. She also loved walking along Revere Beach.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Martin and Violet (Wonstall); special aunt to Linda Baxter of Idaho and grandmother to Linda’s children Marshall and Mikayla Baxter; dear sister of the late Paul MacInnes, Donald MacInnes, Johnny MacInnes, Bobby MacInnes, Ernest MacInnes, Dorothy Magnell, Ginger Corsin and Beverly Palmer and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Henry Festa
Of East Boston
Henry Festa of East Boston passed away on April 25.
He was the beloved companion of Phyllis Glazier of Winthrop; loving father of Domenic Festa and his wife, Carla Buonopane-Festa and Lisa Buonopane and her husband, Eric, all of East Boston and Eric Festa and his wife, Diana of Winthrop; dear brother of the late Domenic, Guido and Josephine and is also survived by six loving grandchildren: Nathan, Ryan, Nicholas, Skyla, Sophia and Olivia and by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, May 2 at St. Joseph- t.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St., East Boston at 11 am. Richard “Dicky” Penn
Former Revere City Councillor and Council President
Richard “Dicky” Penn died peacefully on April 24 after a long illness. He was 76 years old.
The son of the late Martha and Samuel Penn and the devoted husband of Catherine (Belinfante) Penn, Richard retired from the Swampscott School Department. He later entered politics and greatly enjoyed serving his community. He served as a Revere City Councilor as well as City Council president. He was also employed at Wonderland Greyhound Park.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Marcy Mucci and her husband, Brian of Revere and his grandson, Nicholas Mucci. He was predeceased by his son, Neil Penn.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral of Alice J. (Penney) O’Reilly today, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. at the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Route 107) Revere followed by her funeral service in the funeral home at 11 a.m.
Born in Chelsea, she spent her early years in Revere and was a 1942 graduate of Revere High School.  She and her late husband, John C. O’Reilly lived in Everett for over 38 years and returned to Revere in 1978. She retired from Stone & Webster of Boston in 1992 after her 68th birthday following 25 years of service.
She was the devoted mother of Kathleen A. Forrest and her husband, Peter A. of Nashua, NH, John C. O’Reilly, Jr. and his late wife, Linda of Bullhead City, Arizona and Mary Ellen Peters and her husband, Joseph of West Peabody; the cherished grandmother of: Joseph Aola, III and his wife, Heidi of New Hampshire, Michelle McLaughlin and her husband, Edward of Bullhead City, Arizona, Angela Donovan and her husband, Dennis of Revere and John C. Oâ€Reilly III and his wife, Melanie of South Hunington, NY; dear sister of the late John, Albert, William, Frank and Robert Penney, Lena M. Grasso and Dorothy Fraser. She is also lovingly survived by six great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.

Marijane Natoli
Retired educator and animal lover
Marijane Natoli, a highly respected teacher for 50 years in the United States and Germany, died on April 2 at her Revere residence after a long illness. She was 71 years old.
She taught reading for many years at Pentucket Regional Middle School in West Newbury and Sacramento, CA and also taught English in York City, NY and Frankfort, Germany. She recently retired from Bunker Hill Community College’s AGE program at the Chelsea campus. She was a literary being who had a passion for reading and letter correspondence. Because she was very politically conscious, she enjoyed her years working for the Revere election department.
Marijane was a competitive horseman and roller skater in her early years. Later she became a professional skating instructor. Her creative and curious personality led her to travel throughout the world.
Her greatest passion, however, was for animals. She raised wired hair fox terriers and supported various animal foundations. Marijane’s clever wit, perception, generosity and zest for life and fine dining endeared her to many.
She was a unique older sister who we will continue to strive to emulate.
She leaves her sisters: Susan Natoli Anderson of Somersworth, NH, Victoria A. Natoli of Revere and her brother, Cliff Natoli of Foxboro. She also leaves behind two nieces: Sarah Anderson Stimpson of Washington State and Naomi Anderson of Dover, NH as well as many cherished family members and friends. Services will be held privately. Longtime clothing indutry stitcher
Maria C. (Ferrelli) Mancini of Revere, formerly of Everett , died on April 26.
Born in Prezza Italy, the daughter of the late Panfilo and Anita (Forgione) Ferrelli, Mrs. Mancini immigrated to the United States with her husband and children in 1966, settling in East Boston briefly before moving to Everett to raise her family. Then, in the mid 90’s, they moved to Revere. She worked for many years in the clothing industry as a stitcher.
The beloved wife of Primo Mancini, she was the devoted mother of Frank Mancini and his wife, Diana of Middleton and Patricia Pagliuca and her husband, Peter of East Boston; loving grandmother of Jacqueline Mancini, Anthony Mancini and Peter Pagliuca; dear sister of John Ferrelli and his wife, Shirley of Saugus and Paul Ferrelli and his wife, Linda of Litchfield, NH and cherished aunt of Debbie, John Jr., Michael, Luigi, Gianluca and Franco.

Thomas Benedict Cotter, Jr.
40-Year member of Boston Local 103 Electrical Workers Union
Thomas Benedict Cotter, Jr. of Florida and Revere died suddenly in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 27. He was 72 years old.
Tom was an extremely proud 40 year member of the Boston, MA Local 103 Electrical Workers Union. He spent the majority of life in the Boston area but also traveled the country extensively working on mining and other projects for Local 103.
He was an avid outdoorsman, boater and fisherman, a longtime member of the Volunteer Yacht Club, Lynn who continued to enjoy boating, fishing and golfing at his home in Americana Cove, St. Petersburg, FL. Tom leaves behind many wonderful memories with his relatives and friends.
He was the beloved husband of Janet (Duca) Callahan-Cotter of Revere and his first wife, Donna Cotter of Saugus; devoted father of Steven Cotter and his wife, Andrea of Danvers; dear brother of Steven Cotter of Maine and Carlene Cotter-Bernson of Newburyport; cherished grandfather of Alexander and Zachary Cotter and Victor and Ayla Callahan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Thelma Shik
Lifetime member of Hadassah
Thelma (Nagle) Shik of Revere, formerly of Delray Beach, FL and Brooklyn, NY, passed away on April 24 at the age of 101.
Thelma was born in Poland, came to the United States with her family as a young girl and was a lifetime member of both Hadassah and A’Amit Anshe Emunah Congregation of Delray Beach.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jonas (Joe) Shik, the dear sister of the late Sophie Brovanick, and the beloved aunt of Helen Shik and Marjorie Shik.

She was the beloved wife of the late Ruggiero DiCostanzo with whom she shared 47 years of marriage; loving mother of Giorgio DiCostanzo of Lynn, Giovanni DiCostanzo and his wife, Cynthia of Revere, Mario DiCostanzo and his wife, Teresa and Antonio DiCostanzo and his wife, Petra, all of Nahant and Silvano DiCostanzo and his wife, Barbara of Marblehead; dear sister of the late Maria and Giusepina Florio, Emilia Iacono, Nunzia DiScala and Domenico and Francesco DiCostanzo; cherished grandmother of Steffany, Cristina, Giorgio Jr., Giancarlo, Natasha, David, Leonardo, Ruggiero, Katia and Daniela DiCostanzo and fond aunt of Gabi and Brigida (Iacono) Zambrano and Emilia (Zambrano) Iacono.
