Paul Femino of Chelsea died on February 13.

He was the beloved husband of Angela (Savignano) Femino of Chelsea; devoted father of Paul L. Femino and his wife, Melissa of Norwood and Gina Citrano and her husband, John of Medford; dear brother of Diane Dichiara and her husband, Michael of N.Reading, Charles Femino and his wife, Cyndie of Melrose, Louis Femino and wife Joanne of Wilmington and the late Angela O’Mahoney; loving brother-in-law of Giuseppe Colucciello and his late wife, Assunta and Joanne Andreoli and her husband, Hank of Saugus; cherished grandfather of John, Eric and Alec Citrano. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Edith Taub

Of Peabody, formerly of Revere; long time member of Temple B’nai Israel

Edith (Kanter) Taub of Peabody, formerly of Revere, beloved wife of Irving Taub, died February 13 at the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers surrounded by her loving family. She was 98 years old.

Born in Boston, the daughter of the late Harry and Bessie (Marshall) Kanter, she was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School and had been employed as a credit investigator for Sears.

She and her husband were residents of Revere for 58 years prior to moving to Peabody seven years ago. She was a long-time member of Temple B’nai Israel, Revere,

In addition to her husband. she is survived by her daughter. Audrey Taub of Burlington and her son, Howard Taub of Charlestown and by many nieces, nephews and cousins  She was predeceased by her brothers Leonard, Herbert, and Arnold Kanter and her sister Beatrice Kanter.

Her funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon at 12 noon today, Wednesday, February 18 followed by interment. Laurence McGuiggan

Retired steam ship clerk

Laurence McGuiggan of Winthrop, formerly of Revere, died on Thursday afternoon at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 86 years old.

The beloved husband of Corinne (Capone) McGuiggan, he was born and raised in Revere, the son of the late Francis and Frances (Thomas) McGuiggan. He has lived for the past 41 years in Winthrop.Mr. McGuiggan was a graduate of Revere High School and Burdett College. He retired as a Steam Ship Clerk in Boston and was a member of the Boston Shipping Association.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Laurine McGuiggan Berger of Amesbury and Karen Jeter and her husband, David of Winthrop; one son, Brian McGuiggan and his wife, Sharon of Dunstable; one sister, Joan McGuiggan Canniff of Revere; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Of Revere

Maria E. (Evangelista) Baffo of Revere passed away on February 12. She was 78 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Eugenio and Addolorata Evangelista; beloved wife of Joseph Baffo; loving mother of John Baffo and his wife Maria and Nancy Folan; adored grandmother of Elizabeth Folan; caring sister of Lina, Emelia, Tony, Alfredo and the late Paolo and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

US Postal Service retiree

Alfred V. Siciliano, Jr. of East Boston, formerly of Revere, passed away February 10 surrounded by his loving family.

Alfred was a retired letter carrier for the US Postal Service with 32 years service and a Disabled American Veteran United States Army 25th Infantry Division.

He was the beloved husband of Karen (Hanlon) Siciliano with whom he shared 51 years of marriage; loving father of Alfred V. Siciliano and his wife, Sue and John Siciliano and his wife, Mayrene, all of East Boston and Jason Siciliano and his wife, Laurie of Stoneham; cherished grandfather of Michael, Briana, and Sofia; dear brother of his twin brother Anthony of Northbridge and the late Panteleone Siciliano; devoted nephew of Phyllis Capuano of Melrose and Red Terenzio of Revere and uncle to many loving nieces and nephews.

Phyllis Bialecki

Revere homemaker; worked at Revere Almy’s

Phyllis M. (Ferraro) Bialecki, a life long Revere resident, died recently. She was 99 years old.

A homemaker, born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the family settled in Revere when Phyllis was a small child and she was educated in the Revere Public Schools. In 1935, Phyllis married Henry S. Bialecki and the couple made her home in Revere, began their family and had one son, Joseph. Phyllis loved being a mother and taking care of her home. She was known to enjoy life and spending time with her family. Phyllis worked at Almy’s Department Store in Revere for over five years.

She was the wife of the late Henry S. Bialecki with whom she shared 51 years of marriage; the loving mother of Joseph J. Bialecki and his wife, Theresa J. of Danvers and Florida; the cherished grandmother of Mary O. Miele and her husband, Michael, Gerald J. Bialecki and his wife, Kelly and Jean M. Donovan and her husband, John; the cherished great grandmother of Shawn Mielle, Joseph Bialecki, Andrew Bialecki, Nicholas and Calli Donovan. She was the beloved sister of Ann Ruzzo of Revere and the late John and James Ferraro and is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Doreen O’Regan-Barrasso

Active Stoneham area volunteer

Doreen M. O’Regan-Barrasso of Melrose and formerly of Stoneham, died Wednesday, February 11. She was 52 years old.

Born in Lowell on June 14, 1962, the beloved daughter of Dorothea (Rourke) O’Regan of Stoneham and the late James O’Regan, Doreen was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1980 and later attended Northeastern University. She enjoyed cooking and was an active volunteer for various charitable groups in the Stoneham area.

Doreen was the loving mother of Daniel J. O’Regan of New York, NY, Santino Luigi Barrasso, Angelina Maria Barrasso, and Cassandra Maria Barrasso, all of Revere. She was the devoted grandmother of Luigi Michael and is also survived by one niece and several great nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, James Shaun O’Regan

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Saturday, February 21 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Robert Hendsbee

Retired Hood Milk Co. auto body mechanic

Robert J. “Bob the Hat” Hendsbee of Malden, formerly of Somerville, died recently. He was 84 years old.

Born in Somerville on August 10, 1930, he was raised and educated in Somerville and attended Somerville High School. A longtime Somerville resident, he relocated to Malden 30 years ago. Bob worked for many years as an auto body mechanic for Hood Milk in Somerville until his retirement. He loved horses and enjoyed frequent trips to Suffolk Downs and due to his dapper appearance and his love for hats, he become affectionately known as “Bob the Hat”. A generous and kind man, Bob will also be remembered for his sense of humor and his enjoyment of life to the fullest.

He was the beloved husband of 52 years to the late Charlotte D. “Dottie” Hendsbee and the former husband of Mildred “Millie” (Blakely) Hendsbee; the devoted father of Lynn L. Hendsbee of Malden and Laura A. Garmon Hendsbee of Somerville and her late husband, Steven and the dear brother of the late Eugene Hendsbee. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Maine.

John Falcucci of Revere, formerly of Boston’s North End, died unexpectedly. He was 49 years old.

Born in Boston’s North End, the family later settled in Revere. John was educated in the Revere schools and began working in the contracting business. During his time working in the trades, John found his niche as a “painter.”.Painting was his expertise.

He was the loving son of the late Leonardo A. and Giovanna (Rinaldo) Falcucci; the cherished brother of Michael “Freddie” Falcucci and Archangelo Falcucci, both of Revere, Maria Grace Nicoloro and her husband, Peter of Cambridge, Philip Falcucci, Anthony P. Falcucci and his wife, Sheila, all of Revere, Angela Falcucci of Boston and the late Carmela Falcucci. He was the beloved companion of Deborah Ragucci of Revere and her sons, Kenneth Ragucci and Michael T. Ragucci and her granddaughter, Kaylee Ragucci. He is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and by Christopher Cleary.

Wayne ”Winky Peppers” Gray of Malden, formerly of Everett, died on February 11.

Wayne was a longtime member of the East Side Athletic Association of Malden.

Robert W. Foley of Revere, formerly of Roslindale, died on February 10.

Robert was a retired Manager of Labor Relations for the MWRA.

He was the beloved husband of 22 years to Miriam (McDonald-Russell); devoted father of Karen Connolly and her husband, Stephen of Hanover, Kathleen Doyle and her, husband James of Millis, Roberta Skinner and her Fiancé, Daniel Smith of Quincy; loving grandfather of Trevor, Sean, Malachy, Mallory, Andrew, Nicholas, Olivia, and Jackson; dear brother of Francis Foley of Medfield, Claire Foley of Norwood and the late James Foley, Paul G. Harry C. Terenzi

Of Revere

Harry C. Terenzi, age 98, of Revere, died on Monday, February 9, 2015, surrounded by his family.Harry was born on July 7, 1916 in Lynn, MA and grew up in the Brickyard neighborhood of the city, the son of Lorenzo and Julia (Poretta) Terenzi.  He was a baker before joining the Civilian Conservation Corps.  When war broke out he was drafted by the US Army.  He fought proudly in the Pacific theater with the 32nd ‘Red Arrow’ Infantry Division, spending more than three years in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines.  He engaged in the battles of Buna, Leyte, Luzon, and others.  Telling stories of these battles and long treks in the jungles of the South Pacific, Harry often recalled his promise to himself that if he got out alive, he’d count every day after a bonus. He was one of six siblings who served in the Armed Forces in World War II, all of whom survived.Upon return home, Harry joined the US Postal Service.  He married the love of his life and had three children.  He was an avid stamp collector and amazing cook.  He enjoyed being surrounded by his family, sharing his love for books, stamps, and information about everything from golf to astronomy to family history.  He was a great storyteller and always got as much a kick out of himself as those around him did.  A proud patriot, he wore his 32nd Division hat with its dozen pins wherever he went.  His kindness, generosity, and laughter will be greatly missed by his loving friends and family.He leaves behind his wife of 75 years, Angelina (Polcari) of Revere, their three children, Ronald, Karen (Crane), and Richard, son-in-law Frank Crane, and daughters-in-law Rose (Imbrescia) and Mary Jane (Wemmelmann).  He was the grandfather of ten, Althea Terenzi, Tanya Valverde, Alyssia Sebastian, William Crane, the late Danielle Crane, Nicole Crane, Liane Terenzi, Valerie Terenzi, Domenic Terenzi, and Anthony Terenzi.  He also leaves eleven adoring great-grandchildren.  He was the eldest brother of the late Angelo Terenzi, Matthew Terenzi, William Terenzi, Antonio Terenzi, Frances Cashman, and Mary Jarzylo. A Funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Anthony’s Parish on Saturday, Feb. 14th. Services concluded with full military honors followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Bernard ‘Franny’ Boudette

Loving family man

Bernard F. “Franny” Boudette, a lifelong resident of Revere, died recently. He was 91 years old.

Born and raised in Revere, he attended Immaculate Conception Grammar and High School and was the Class President of the Class of 1941. After graduation, Franny worked at Forbes Lithograph for a short time. In 1943 he enlisted in the United States Army to serve his country during the World War II. 1946 Franny returned home and enrolled in Franklin Tech, attending a two year program and earning a certificate in Electrical Training. During this time, he worked for Boston Naval Ship Yard.

In 1948 Franny wed Lillian M. “Chickie” Ginnetti. The couple remained in Revere and started their family together. He later went to work at John Hancock Life Insurance Company as a Mechanical Systems Operator.

Franny was known as a quiet man, but he had a very witty sense of humor. He was also a man who loved his family and was extremely humble.

He was the devoted husband of Lillian M. “Chickie” (Ginnetti) Boudette with whom he shared 66 years of marriage; the loving father of Karen M. Webb and her husband, Bill; the cherished grandfather of Eric J. Webb and Kristin E. Toledo and her husband, Donny and the adored great grandfather of Jordan, Maxwell and Isabella, all of Revere; the beloved brother of Catherine McCormack of Topsfield and the late C. Robert Boudette, Richard Boudette and Irene Guidara. He was the special brother in law of Mary “Molly” Boudette and Theresa Beaudette, both of Revere and is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Annette Zaccone

Annette M. (Malta) Zaccone, a life long resident of Revere, died recently. She was 81 years old.

Born and raised in Revere, Annette was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1952. After high school, she worked at Sid Green’s & Line Material as a bookkeeper. In 1954 she married her love, Guy S. Zaccone. The couple settled in Revere where they raised their two sons.

Annette loved her family and in later years she was blessed with grandchildren as well as great grandchildren, whom she adored. It is well known what a “Shopper’ Annette was. She loved shopping for almost anything and always had a coupon for it. She is the devoted wife of Guy Zaccone of Revere with whom she shared 61 years of marriage; the loving mother of Stephen G. Zaccone and his wife ,Elaine S. of Orlando, Florida and Mark E. Zaccone of Revere; the cherished grandmother of Alexandra N. Zaccone and her companion, Nickola LoRe, Stephen G. Zaccone , Nicholas A. Jean Marie Goscinak

Healthcare worker

Jean Marie (Manley) Goscinak of Revere died on February 1 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. The wife of the late Edward Goscinak, she was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Henry and Hazel (Sanford) Manley. Mrs. Goscinak worked for 20 years as a healthcare worker at North Shore Mental Health.

She is survived by two sons: Daniel Bochetti of Revere and Steven Bochetti of Lynn and one granddaughter, Morissa Jeanne Bochetti of Worcester. Mrs. Goscinak was the aunt of Chris Woodland and Larry Murray, both of Saugus and the sister of the late Lawrence Manley and the late Dorothy Murray.

Joseph DeStefano, Jr. of Revere died on February 7.

Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a former employee of the City of Revere.

He was the beloved son of the late Joseph DeStefano and Angelina (Nardone) Tucker; devoted friend of the late Shirley Stewart; dear cousin of Maureen Appel and family of Saugus and many more cousins.
