Frances Barile

Of Revere, formerly of Everett

Frances (Puliafico) Barile of Revere, formerly of Everett, died on November 9. She was 92 years old.

A long time employee of the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston, she was born and raised in Everett and moved to Revere as an adult.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick, the devoted mother of Richard Barile and his wife, Patricia of Revere, Ronald Tango of Medford and Clair Wilhelm and her husband, John of Northbridge; dear sister of many pre deceased siblings and is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, November 13 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Jane Rossetti

Revere Homemaker

Jane A. (Taylor) Rossetti of Revere died on November 10. She was 69 years old.

The beloved wife of Charles P. Rossetti of Revere, she was the devoted mother of Susan A. Rossetti and her boyfriend, Ken of Middleton and Jana T. Suozzo and her husand, Ralph of New Hampshire; cherished grandmother of Zachary C., Taylor R., Sydney Jane and Kyle J. ; loving daughter of the late Mary (Kelleher) Taylor and is also survived by close family and many dear friends.

Theresa Trainor

Lived her life for her family; loved by everyone

Theresa (Gauthier) Trainor of Beachmont died on Thursday, November 6 at the East Pointe Rehabilitation Center in Chelsea. The wife of the late Welton Trainor, she was born in Allston, the daughter of the late James and Blanche (Huard) Gauthier. A resident of Beachmont for many years, she was a wonderfully proud homemaker and mother, lived her life for her family and took pride in raising them. She was loved by everyone she touched, her big smile and sparkling eyes lit up the room.

She is survived by her children; William Trainor and his wife, Peggy of Wrentham, Patricia Garbarino of Revere and Thomas Trainor and his late wife, Patricia of Merrimac. She was the proud grandmother of eight and great grandmother of 11.

Antonio Maglione, Jr.

Retired US Air Force Major

US Air Force Major Antonio Maglione Jr. (Retired) died following a long illness at his nephew’s Revere home where he had been living for the past five years. He was 87 years old.

Born and raised in Revere, he attended Revere schools and was a 1945 graduate of Revere High School. He entered the US Air Force in July of 1946 and served until September 30, 1966 retiring as a Major with more than 20 years of service. His years of service extended from the end of World War II to Korea and through the Vietnam Era. “The Military” never left his life nor his personality. He attended schools throughout his military career and continued to improve his educational background well into his sixties for over 20 years.

He worked for the IRS as a tax examiner and supervisor. He was a long time member of the Revere Lodge of Elks #1171 and the Beachmont VFW Post #6712 and also taught within the Revere School System for several years at the High School level before retirement.

He was the son of the late Antonio F. Maglione, Sr. and Caroline (Maraotta); the dear brother of the late Louise M. DeRosa, Revere Patrolman Carmine J. Maglione, George Maglione, Sr., Mary Clark, Carmella Santosuosso, Celia D’Agnese, Peter, Michael and Rocco Maglione. He is lovingly survived by his nephew and best friend, George Maglione, Jr. of Revere with whom he made his home for the past five years. He is also lovingly survived by many other cherished nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge with an abundance of gratitude to health-care providers Nancy and David for their extraordinary care and attention to ”Uncle Tony.”

Retired Athletic Director For Revere Schools & Social Studies Teacher, Army Veteran Of Korean Conflict

Blasi, who died on Saturday, November 8th at Genesis At Wakefield Center, Wakefield, following a lengthy illness. His funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Saturday following the visitation, & followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, REVERE, at 11AM. Born & raised in Revere, he attended schools here & entered the US ARMY during the Korean Conflict, from March of 1954 – March of 1958. He served with Company G, within the 18th Infantry Regiment as an assistant Squad Leader. He went to work with the City of Revere, in the School Department, serving as Athletic Director for many years. He also taught within the system, as a social studies teacher at the High School. He is a member of the Retired Revere Teachers’ Association. His beloved wife, Louise G. (Davis), pre-deceased him on March 8, 2010. They had been married for 51 years at the time of her death. He is the devoted & cherished father of: Barbara A. Lospennato & her husband, Robert J., Brenda L. Spinney all of Revere, Anthony A. Blasi & his wife, Terri of Auburn, Maine, & Roxanne Pittman & her husband, James M. of Auburn, Massachusetts. He is the dear brother of: Anthony J. “A.J.” Blasi & his wife, Bernice of Revere, & the late Rocco Blasi & Rita Grosso. He is also the adored grandfather of: Nicole M. Apollo & her husband, Daniel R. Carol E. (Tempesta) Giammarino of N. Andover, formerly of Revere and Malden, died on November 4.

Carol worked many years in the insurance industry at Bay State Financial.

The beloved wife of 56 years to Nicholas, she was the devoted mother of Lianne McMahan and her husband, David of Atkinson NH, Karen Trulli and her husband, Robert of N. Andover, Kristine Nicholas and her husband, Craig of Georgetown and Nicholas Jr. and his wife, Sarah of Haverhill; dear sister of Barbara Tempesta of Revere, Thomas Tempesta of Malden and the late Elizabeth Morico and Robert Tempesta and is also survived by 11 loving grandchildren: Nicole, Amanda, Justin, Erika, Jessica, Daniel, Ryan, Colin, Alex, Ben, Adrian and the late Andreas, two great grandchildren, Matthew and Olivia and by many nieces and nephews.

Of Revere, formerly of Winthrop

Merle L. (Byne) Cohen of Revere, formerly of Winthrop, entered into rest November 7. She was 87 years old.

The beloved wife of the late Leo Cohen, she was the devoted mother of Dr. Barry T. and his wife, Caryn of Marblehead, Eric J. Cohen of Peabody and Michael G. Cohen and his wife, Susan of Marblehead; loving sister of Faye Simensky of Boynton Beach, FL.; cherished grandmother of Esther and Jonathan Amerikaner, Matthew, Jason, Lauren, Miriam, Rachel and Joshua Cohen; adored great grandmother of Leo Amerikaner and the dear sister-in-law of the late Larry Simensky.

Of Revere, formerly of Chelsea

Richard B. DiRocco, Jr., of Revere, formerly of Chelsea, died unexpectedly at the age of 25 on November 9.

He was the loving son of Jonnalee Hammond and Richard B. DiRocco, Sr., both of Revere, beloved father of Ayden Davis of North Carolina, dear brother of Richard DiRocco of East Boston, Gina DiRocco of Revere, Anna DiRocco of Lynn, Robert Hammond, Chelsea Police Officer of Chelsea, Maria DiRocco of Everett, Paula and Anthony DiRocco, both of Revere. He is also lovingly survived by many aunts and uncles.
