Roberta Dolan
Devoted Mother, Grandmother
and Great Grandmother
Roberta L. Dolan of Revere passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston with her loving family at her side. She was 76 years old.
Roberta was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved being with family and friends. A lifetime Red Sox fan, prior to her illness, she worked as an assistant activities director in the local senior healthcare program and assisted elders with personal in home healthcare.
Born in Malden on June 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Roderick and Letha McLean of Saugus, loving mother of Martin Dolan and his wife, Nancy of Revere, Kathleen Dolan and her partner, Barry of Lynn and Donna Dolan of Revere. She was the cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren and the great grandmother of five. Mrs. Dolan was predeceased by her son, William “Billy” Dolan, Jr., her former husband, William H. Dolan and her brother, Roderick McLean. She was the sister of Carolyn Crocker of Middleton, Delores Poole of Wolfeboro, NH and Kathleen Sawyer of Mendon, MA and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life, in Roberta’s honor will be held on Saturday, November 1 at 11 a.m. in the Saugus Church of the Nazarene, 60 Essex St., Saugus ( Cliftondale).In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Roberta’s memory to the Alzheimers Foundation. Eleanor Zerega
Of Revere
Eleanor (Colarusso) Zerega of Revere, formerly of Waltham and East Boston, passed away on October 23.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Zerega; dear sister of Margaret “BiBI” Lovett of Revere and the late Phyllis Lemmo, Patrick, Ralph, John and Louis Colarusso and is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Eleanor’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, October 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Vazza’s “Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach Street, Revere and again at 9 a.m. Friday morning before leaving in procession to St Anthony’s Church for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Mt. Vincent M. Federici
Formerly of Revere
Vincent M. Federici, 71, of Mashpee, formerly of Revere, died at Falmouth Hospital on October 26, 2014, after a lengthy illness. Vincent was the loving son of the late Vincent and Mildred Federici of Revere.
He was a caring and devoted brother to the late Louise Azzari (Federici), and her husband Edward, of Revere and the late Joanne Felci (Federici) and her husband Paul, of Saugus. Loving uncle to Edward Azzari and his wife Michelle of Saugus, John Azzari and his wife Kristin of Bradford and Joanne Felci of Saugus. Beloved cousin of William and Nancy McDermott of Mashpee, Theresa and Tom Walles of Wilmington, Anthony and Mary Ioven of Mashpee and his dear friends, Dave and Yvette Fennessey of E. Falmouth as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Vinnie was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He was very strong in his faith and served as a Eucharistic Minister for years. He was a retired human resource manager. After retirement, Vinnie spent much of his free time with his friends and family. He loved fishing and was an active member of the Wareham Lodge of Elks. He loved animals and enjoyed volunteering at Friends of Falmouth Dogs.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Church, 167 East Falmouth Hwy. (Route 28), East Falmouth, MA, 02536. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St, Revere on November 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM followed by a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Filippo ‘Phil’ Russano
Former Merchant Marine; Bethlehem Steel Employee
Filippo ‘Phil’ Russano of Revere, formerly of East Boston, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 18. He was 86 years old.
He was a former Merchant Marine and worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel in East Boston.

David Merritt
Worked at 711 on North Shore Road
David Merritt of Revere died at Salem Hospital on October 17. He was 71 years old.
David, who worked at the 711 on North Shore Road, was the beloved son of the late George and Sarah (Connors) Merritt; dear friend of Annette Brandt and her daughter, Lisa and grandson, Tomas, all of Revere.

Louis Colangelo
Former Proprietor of Louie’s Lounge
Louis J. Colangelo of Revere died on October 23 at East Pointe Nursing Home. He was 85 years old.
A US Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was the former proprietor of Louie’s Lounge.
Born in Boston, the son of the late Giuseppe and Carmella (Buono), he was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (DeVincent); devoted father of Marie Ward and her late husband, Martin, Joseph and his partner, Kelly Soya, Florence and her partner, Raymond Boucher, all of Revere and Mark and his wife, Karen of Stoneham; dear brother of the late Peter and Michele Colangelo; cherished grandfather of Lisa, Jason, Louie, Joseph, Justin, Sheena, Jonathan, Christopher and Sam and great-grandfather of Alera, Brayden, Chase and twins Marti and Luca.

Geneva Hall
Revere Poll Worker; Longtime Federal Reserve Bank Employee
Geneva E. Hall of Summer Street, Revere passed away at home on October 18 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 89 years old.
Born in Reading, the beloved daughter of the late Lillian (Milne) and James Cail, she was a resident of Revere for over 50 years. She worked in the Navy Yard during World War II and then went on to work at the Federal Reserve Bank for many years. She also worked at the polls during election time for the City of Revere and was a good and helpful friend to many.
She was the devoted wife of the late Stanley Hall and the loving mother of Jane Tiernan of Kentucky, Elaine Warren and her husband, Tyson of Colorado, Angus Moss of Minnesota, Mary Krakowski of Montana and step mother of Max Hall. She was the dear aunt of Alice Johnson of South Boston and several other nieces. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend the memorial service from the Ernest P.
