Rita T. (Fabiano) Tritto of East Boston passed away on Sunday, September 14. She was 81 years old.
A Crossing Guard for the City of Boston for over 25 years, she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Tritto, the loving mother of retired Boston Police Sgt. Maria Walsh and her husband, Thomas of Braintree, Janice Tritto and Lori Tritto and her wife, Jackie Carlino, all of Lynn and the late Toni Ann Tritto; cherished grandmother of Michael A. Walsh; caring sister of Anna Vellante of East Boston, Eleanor DePalma of Stoughton, Gerald Fabiano of Revere and the late Carmella Antonucci, Elizabeth Matt, Mary Spina, Frank, Alfred and Joseph “Tony†Fabiano. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Rita’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “Beechwood†Funeral Home, 262 Beach St. Revere today, Wednesday, September 17 from 3 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. Thursday morning before leaving in procession to the Sacred Heart Church, East Boston for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated in her honor at 11:30 a.m. Committal will follow in the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Michael Paul Tupper of Manchester, NH, beloved husband of Karen Tupper, passed away on Saturday, September 13 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH, surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old.

Peter Sawtelle
Retired Salesman for Contracting Firms
Peter J. Sawtelle, a 58 year resident of Revere, died unexpectedly on August 30 after being rushed to Mass. General Hospital in Boston. He was 77 years old.
Born and raised in Boston’s West End, he came to live in Revere more than 58 years ago. Most of his working career was spent in the contracting business as a salesman.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary H. (Othmer) Sawtelle; the devoted father of Jessica L. Sargent of Amesbury and the cherished grandfather of Albert M. Sargent of Haverhill and Alex M. Sargnt of Amesbury; the dear brother of Victoria L. Lentini of Revere and the late Joseph F. Sawtelle. He is also lovingly survived by his former wife, Cheryl L. Hazelton of Amesbury and two great grandsons, Anthony M. Lattime-Sargent and Adrian M. Mason-Sargent and by several nieces and nephews.

Mary B. (Donnelly) Davison of Revere, formerly of Somerville died on September 9.
A member of the Telephone Pioneers, she was the wife of the late John P. Davison, Jr.; loving mother of Patricia A. Follis of Saugus, John P. Davison III and his wife, Mary of Stoneham, Richard D. Donnelly and his wife, Maureen of Everett, David M. Donnelly and his wife, Dorothy of Everett, Bernadette M. Bertone and her husband, Michael of Reading, Mary B. Davison and her husband, Philip Bonner of Revere and the late Daniel J. Davison; dear sister of Ann Port and her husband, George of Newburyport, Ellen Morel of Florida, James Donnelly and his wife, Camille of Saugus, Edmund Donnelly of Westford, Thomas J. Donnelly of Revere and the late Daniel, Stephen Donnelly, Frances Zand, Kathleen Manz and Elizabeth Sim; cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 17 ½ great grandchildren; sister in-law and best friend to Edna Powell of Saugus. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rose Coppola
Retired Seamstress;Â Active at Rossetti Senior Center
Rose M. (Lupoli) Coppola, a 74-year resident of Revere, died unexpectedly on September 12 at Lighthouse Nursing & Care Center of Revere after a brief illness. Mrs. Coppola would have celebrated her 99th birthday on September 19.
Born in Italy, she came to the United States in 1928, residing in East Boston and moved to Revere in 1940.
Mrs. Coppola was a seamstress for most of her working career, working in Boston’s garment district. She has been an active member of the Revere Rosetti Center for Seniors since its inception where she was a popular personality who enjoyed the sociality that the members, staff and organization brought to her. She was one of the oldest members of the group.
Her husband, the late Gabriele Coppola, died in February of 1983. She was the devoted mother of Gabriele A. Coppola and his wife. Donna M. of Danvers and was also the mother of the late Theodore G. Coppola and Maria R. Giannantonio and her late husband, Anthony; the cherished grandmother of Roseanne Coppola of Revere, Adamarie Brini of Wakefield, Nicholas G. Coppola, Jr. and Anthony J. Coppola, both of Davners. She is also lovingly survived by two great grandaughters, Gabrielle and Kensie Brini, her sister in law, Mamia Lupoli of Winthrop and by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the sister of the late Josephine Dellaversano, Marion Morano, Salvatore and Nicholas Lupoli.
Her funeral will be conducted from the Vertuccio & Smith Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway, Revere today, Wednesday, September 17 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Revere at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in the private family mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery.
