Edward Conte

Mass Port Authority Retiree

Edward P. Conte of N. Andover, formerly of Revere, died on June 30 surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer.

Ed worked for 34 years at The Mass Port Authority before retiring in 2012. He was the former proprietor of Ed’s Custom Car Care in N. Andover. Ed loved to vacation in Ogunquit ME, dine in Boston’s North End and cheer on our local sports teams.

He was the beloved husband of Therese (Magliochetti); devoted father of Carissa Karakaedos and her husband, Joel of Peabody, Marielle Conte and Anthony Conte, both of N. Andover; loving grandfather of Caleb Karakaedos; dear brother of Robert and his wife, Jean of Dover, NH and the late Ronald and James Conte. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

His Funeral will be held from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere on Thursday, July 3 at 9 a.m. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Richard Anthony Attenasio

Retired Restaurant Manager,former Revere Resident

Richard Anthony Attenasio of Hampton, NH, formerly of Revere, died on June 26.

Richard was a graduate of Revere High School and the Lowell Institute. He was in the restaurant management business most of his career starting with his own business in East Boston. He relocated to San Diego in 1985 where he managed Cocoa’s and Ruby’s Restaurants. He retired as manager of the Black Angus Restaurant in 2009 at which time he returned to the East Coast residing in Hampton, NH.

Born in Revere, the son of the late Vincent Joseph (Jimmy) Attenasio and Mary (Quasarano) Attenasio, he was the beloved brother of Pat Attenasio and his wife, Joyce of Revere, Annette Lewis of Groveland, Marie DiPerri of Epsom, NH, Leona Attenasio Nisbet and her husband, Jack of Boothbay, ME and Vincent Joseph Attenasio, Jr. and his wife, Ann of West Newbury; he is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. Arrangements are by Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St., Revere. Samuel Lane

Retired Teacher

Samuel Lane of Revere, formerly of East Boston, died on June 23.

A retired teacher who taught many years at Greater Lawrence Vocational, he was the beloved husband of Pauline (Archbold); dear brother of Patricia A. Costa and her husband, Nelson of Brockton and Ellen M. Lyons and her husband, Stephen of Groveland and he is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
