RoseLee Vincent took Tuesday night’s Special Election Democratic Primary for the 16th Suffolk District with 1,154 votes, beating Revere’s Linda Rosa by 540 votes. Rosa collected 614 votes and Chelsea Attorney Josh Monahan finished with 504 votes.

The district includes half of Revere, Prattville in Chelsea and two precincts in Saugus.

In Revere, Vincent beat Rosa nearly 2 to 1, coming in with 990 Revere votes to Rosa’s 550 Revere votes. Monahan had 181 votes in Revere.
