Festa Road resident Louis Rizzo came bearing gifts – in this case a wonderful watercolor painting of a horserace – during the recent Suffolk Downs Senior Valentines Luncheon. Rizzo and his wife, Marjorie, are both signature members of the prestigious New England Watercolor Society (NEWS) and have been included in several of their shows. Currently, his wife Marjorie has work on display on Boston’s Newbury Street and won honorable mention in the NEWS show with her painting ‘Could You Love a Sea Worm?’ Rizzo said he is hoping that Suffolk Downs might host an art show for Revere residents in the coming year.
