The City of Revere and Revere Police and Fire Departments held a commemoration on Tuesday morning of the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks. Here, at left, Firefighter Anthony DiGiovanni and Lt. Dennis Russo lower the flag in front of the Parkway Station to half-staff as the five alarms rang to mark the falling of the second tower in New York. At right, Afghanistan veteran Jamie Chambers of Revere bows his head to remember those lost, while his wife, Shannon, and daughter, Alannah, look on solemnly during
a moment of silence.
