Patriettes Win Revere Youth Softball Championship

The Patriettes won the Revere Youth Softball League Major League championship in dramatic, walk-off fashion.

With the Patriettes and Lightning locked in a scoreless pitcher’s duel into the last inning of the deciding third game of the finals, Sam Woodman delivered a clutch hit to left field to bring home Elizabeth Lake with the winning run, giving the Patriettes the title.

“I was so happy to see Sam in her last year on the team get the key hit and send Elizabeth home with the winning run,” said Patriettes coach Corrie O’Neil.

Mia Nowicki, a standout all season on the mound for the Patriettes, was the winning pitcher.
