Safety concerns

In the wake of a possible sexual assault behind the Paul Revere School earlier this month, Councillors Arthur Guinasso and George Rotondo have called for a community meeting and cooperating with the School Department to bring a safer environment to that area during non-school hours.

Revere Police are investigating the possible sexual assault of a young girl behind the Paul Revere School last Tuesday night, April 12, around 8:45 p.m.

Police responded to the scene on a call of a young female in need of medical assistance. Upon investigation at the scene, there was reason to believe she had been assaulted.

The child was transported to an area hospital and police are investigating.

Guinasso and Rotondo are calling for cameras to be focused upon the Park and for the park to close from dusk to dawn.
