Whelan Students Get ‘a Big Time Rush’ out of Appearance By Teen Band

The latest teen music and television heartthrobs

- Big Time Rush – made a surprise visit to the Whelan Sschool Tuesday afternoon and played a concert for the entire elementary school. The kids won an online contest with KISS 108 earlier in the month and the prize was a concert for the whole school. Big Time Rush has a television show on Nickelodeon and also has an up and coming music career. Principal John Macero kept the concert under wraps until a few hoursbefore the performance.

None of the children knew about the concert until they arrived in the gymnasium.
