Sigouin, Gurska Win for Girls Track Team

Camden Sigouin and Lindsay Gurska captured first places for the Revere High girls track team in their meet last week with Danvers.

Camden won the 300 yard dash in 48.6, leading a Revere sweep in that event. Lindsay sped to victory in the 50 yard high hurdles in a time of 8.7.

Four Lady Patriots garnered second place points with fine efforts: Sara Boukdad in the hurdles in 8.9; Ha Nguyen in the 50 yard dash in 6.9; Comfort Toglan in the 300 in 49.0; and Brittany Brown in the 600 in 2:00.6.

Third place finishes that added single points to the Revere scoresheet were contributed by Brian Scata with a toss of 27-11 in the shotput; Nikki Nelson with a mile run of 6:23; and Amel Derras-Chouk in the 300 in 50.4.

Coach Samnang Ros and his crew took on Winthrop yesterday (Tuesday).
