A young Revere High golf team faced the iron (no pun intended) of the Northeastern Conference this past, taking on Swampscott and Marblehead. Coach Ben Murphy’s Patriots dropped a 51-21 decision to Swampscott and a 56.5-15.5 contest to Marblehead.
Highlights for the Pats were the performances of sophomores Mark Maloney and John Cimarutta both of whom won their individual matchups by scores of 5.5-3.5 against their Swampscott counterparts.
Murphy and his crew are set to be back in action this Thursday at Winthrop and then will host Saugus next Tuesday.
