A Big Weekend – Sandcastle Festival will draw huge crowds

In this, the seventh year of the Sand Castle Competition on Revere Beach is expected to draw the largest crowds ever in its history.

Each year the competition has drawn larger and larger crowds as the event morphs from something that was tried out to something that has begun to institutionalize itself as the city’s single biggest drawing major summer event.

We urge our readers and your families and your friends to get yourselves down to Revere Beach beginning Wednesday to see some gorgeous and complicated works of sand art take shape and form.

This is a real time summer Revere Beach event that is fit for people of all ages.

Enjoy.
