Reinstein’s Stand – State Rep. is a strong voice for expanded gaming

As the casino gambling debate gets officially underway on Beacon Hill, we believe we can rely on our Representative Kathi Anne Reinstein for real leadership before a final deal is made to allow a license for a casino at Suffolk Downs.

Reinstein favors such a license – as we do.

She knows such a development would mean many new jobs, new taxes and new potential that goes way beyond anything the race track by itself has been able to do over the years.

Reinstein’s job is to make certain Revere gets its fair share of whatever comes to be on the Suffolk Downs site – which is going to include the possible usage of Wonderland.

Revere must benefit from such a development, and in a meaningful way.

Her longtime close relationship with Speaker Robert DeLeo, guarantees Revere and East Boston a good political position when it comes to final votes and decisions made on casino gambling.

We are not afraid of casino gambling.

We support it, as does Representative Reinstein.
