This is a letter that Mr Ireton refuses to put on his “site”.

I hope the Revere Journal Website comes up with a “letters to the editor” page that can print truths to the lies being perpetuated by this abuser of drugs.
It is in respnse to his chastising and attempted strong-arm of a new city employee down at city hall.

    Mr Ireton,

That’s why you never will be anything but a Momma’s boy drug addict!

You use your poor excuse for a website to chastise a new employee of the city. Stop with all the “freedom of information act” and “my lawyer knows of it” crap. You’re not scaring anyone who really knows the laws.

I for one have sent you several letters in regards to happenings in the city, which you not only you do not post to your site, you do not respond in kind on a personal and private level.

One such area was when you sent accusations to your “dozens” of readers that Mr. Patch would not be able to vote on anything having to do with police matters. When in fact, the only conflict of interest he would have would be matters dealing only and strictly with retirees of the department. You sound off about doing all this “investigation” about ethics and Mr. Patch being “under fire” for violations. There is no “fire”! You have no respect in this city, no clout other than those of an ordinary citizen, you have no political role and worst of all, you have no respect of anyone, at all!

Everyone knows it’s just something you dredged up because you don’t like someone. The TRUTH is Mr. Patch NEVER used his uniform or position as a police officer to gain any sort of political favor. Has he spoken about his campaign while he has been in uniform to friends? Of course, and why wouldn’t he? He has EVERY right to discuss matters with close friends and associates about anything he wants to.

You should check you “laws for Dummies” book under 1st Amendment free speech rights. He is not acting as an arm of the Judicairy and therefore, can speak about personal business to anyone he deems appropriate and is willing and wanting to hear it.

You chastise a man for “eating and drinking for free”. Where is the crime there? That a man is beloved by so many people they offer him the courtesy of their services? Where is the crime in making over a 100K? Yes, people do slow down in the lime light of their careers. You would not know this because you haven’t any, nor have you ever have had, a career.

    You live with your mother.
    You are 50 years old.
    You are a drug addict.
    These are truths.

You have a website that you yourself have overlooked real problems in the city.

There have been gunshots fired every night for four nights down “The Ave”.
There is a long-standing illegal apartment problem in the city.
You praise a dinosaur crook of a politician whose to blame for the police station not being built in the 80’s,,, for free!
people are fleeing the city for a “new breed” and what do you report?

Charlie Patch strong-arming people to put bumper stickers on their cars!

You’re not part of the solution. You never were. You’re part of the problem.

You rant and rave and try to frighten a new girl at the city hall. You put in patronizing and sexual harassing innuendos such as “attractive” and “young lady”.
If I were her, her “lawyer would be hearing of it” too!

Do you wonder what it’s like to wave hell to someone only to have them laughing at you as soon as you turn your back? Don’t wonder any more. The next time you poke your head around the city,, just wave hello,, walk a few steps, and turn around and look!

People only see this as you mocking yourself and they laugh, Rich.

    We all laugh at you.
